When we are planning to buy a car, whether it is used or brand new, we usually care about specific mechanical conditions, safety, comfort and some other subjective and objective variables. However, is the color a crucial factor within the decision making process?  Have you ever wonder how your car’s color can positively or negatively impact your risk of collision?

Well, it seems color is important factor to keep in mind.  Your car’s color could make it clearly visible to other drivers and pedestrians, however safety also depends on other factors such as: Weather and road conditions, age and experience of the driver just to mention a few of them.

The below is the proposed list of car colors arranged from the safest to the most dangerous, using the results of a study carried out by the Monash University Accident Research Centre in Melbourne:

white (safest)
pink
maroon
yellow
blue
cream
mauve
red
green
gold
brown
fawn
silver
orange
grey
black (most dangerous)

If your car is among the not so safe colors, don’t be deceived by statistics as it was said, not all factors involved in an accident are only related to the vehicle’s color. But you can keep it in mind next time you buy a new one!

Fortunately when it comes to online bingo, color is not an influential factor, only numbers and luck! So, if you want to try yours tonight, don’t miss the Nightly $500 Coverall who knows you can walk away with an extra $500 in your pocket for your Christmas shopping

As their song goes: “It’s amazing with the blink of an eye you finally see the light…”  That is what most likely happened last Tuesday to Steven Tyler Aerosmith’s front man.  As a result from food poisoning, Steven fainted and suffered cuts to his face and lost two teeth after falling in his hotel bathroom while in Paraguay for a concert.   Although artists are very demanding with their requests during a tour, definitely no one is exempt from suffering a mishap, especially when abroad.

Fortunately, the incident didn’t leave any other consequence rather than a few stitches and emergency dental work to repair Tyler’s facial injuries. According to some news report, this isn’t Tyler’s first big fall. In 2009, the singer was airlifted to a hospital after tumbling off the stage during a show in South Dakota.

That was quite a scary experience for Mr. Tyler… In case you want to experience the thrill of a really scary situation then head over Bingo Angels as there are only 3 days left for our Halloween Party and Witches’ Relay Tournament to be over! Get your share of this spooktacular promo before it is over!

If you missed the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards let me tell you that it was a night full of surprises and new faces!  “Modern Family” the sitcom about three assorted couples, very descriptive of our times I’d dare and my favorite TV show swept the board!  It won 4 Emmys for: Directing, writing, and outstanding supporting actor and actress. “Mad Men” was the second best of the night as it won “best drama” series for a fourth straight year.

On the other hand, “The Big Bang Theory” star Jim Parsons (Sheldon), my second favorite show, won his second Emmy in a row as best lead actor in a comedy. Melissa McCarthy of “Mike & Molly” won the award for lead actress. And Canadian actor Barry Pepper won best actor in a mini-series for his role as Robert Kennedy in “The Kennedys(Just to mention a few of the many winners of the night).

Another relevant appearance of the night was Charlie Sheen who of course was not part of the nominees but was in charge of presenting the award for lead actor in a comedy. Although his speech at the beginning seemed to be the prelude of a controversial one, he did nothing but congratulate his former colleagues and wish them the best.  Coincidence or not, this “motivational” moment comes just before the premiere episode of a new season of “Two and a half Men” with Ashton Kutcher replacing Sheen, which by the way will be broadcasted tonight.

Doing an overall review of the whole Emmy night by network HBO was the biggest winner with 19 Emmys, followed by 14 for PBS, 11 for CBS, 9 for Fox, 8 for ABC and 6 for NBC. Hopefully, our night at Bingo Angels is  as successful as it was for HBO at the Emmys!

It seems like Canada is finally ready to give a step forward into new passport technology and catch up with the rest of the G8 and more than 100 countries.

Although the electronic passport has been in the works since 2004 it won’t be until 2012 when this new ePassport is set to be launched. The new ePassports will be very similar to the old ones except they will have an electronic chip encoded with the individual’s name, gender, date of birth and a digital picture.

Canadians will be able to choose between the current 5-year passport or one that is valid for 10 years. The cost of the new passports is yet to be decided, nonetheless Monique Boivin, Manager, Strategic Communications at Passport Canada, recognized the ePassport is more expensive to produce, but said Passport Canada would consult the public before seeking Ottawa’s approval to raise its fees.

In the mean time, the old Canadian passports will remain valid until they expire.  If you are Canadian and want to read further on this matter I invite you visit Passport Canada And if you want to be informed on what is going on in the Bingo Angels online bingo world don’t forget to check our current – daily promos!

Have a lovely Friday and a GRREAT weekend!

Confused about which cooking oils are heart-healthy and which aren’t? Was it Canola, Sunflower, Soybean, Palm or Corn?  Going through the many options we have at the supermarket shelves can be overwhelming sometimes. So which ones are the best? Here are two to pick:

1.       Olive Oil: Use olive oil in dishes that benefit from its rich flavor. Drizzle it on steamed vegetables, mix it into a salad dressing, use a little to sauté vegetables. Or use it in baking in place of butter.

Olive oil contains monounsaturated fat which is supposed to help keep “bad” cholesterol low and boost levels of “good” cholesterol. In addition, if you use extra-virgin olive oil you will have “extra antioxidants bonus” as extra-virgin olive oil is high in antioxidants called polyphenols that have been linked to heart health.

 2.       Canola Oil: it is extremely versatile, is great for sautéing, roasting, baking and making salad dressings.

Canola oil has a neutral flavor and a high smoke. The smoke point is something you have to take into consideration as it is the point at what nutrients are destroyed and potentially health-harming compounds are formed. That is why it is great to sautéing. Canola oil generally doesn’t have many antioxidants, as olive oil does, but it is the richest cooking-oil source of alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fat that has been linked to heart health.

So, let me ask you this question again: What is the best oil to buy? Now let me ask you another question: What is something you can’t ever have enough of? Online bingo that’s right! Check out our Wednesday promotions so you can keep experiencing all the fun we offer!

Every discipline whether it is in arts or sports has its glorious moments and celebrations. Every four years for instance, we celebrate the Olympics and the World Cup where the best of the best meet to choose the world champion.

Sixty years ago what started as a simple a local “bathing beauty” competition in Long Beach, CA would transform a simple beauty pageant into an international annual tradition: “The World Championship of Beauty”  or better known as Miss Universe.

Yesterday night, the most beautiful women around the world gathered in Brazil to choose not only the most beautiful one inside out but the savviest, most goal-oriented and aware woman of them all.  Despite battling against a home-country favorite, Miss Angola, Leila Lopes, 25 beat out 88 other competitors to be crown as the world’s biggest beauty pageant winner.

Miss Universe 2011 Leila Lopes now wants to help her native Angola further escape a history of war and impoverishment and said she plans to focus on combating HIV around the globe. Congratulations to Leila I am pretty sure she worked really hard to accomplish her goal!

Does this sound familiar? If it does is just because you are not a morning person. Being a morning person is not something that can happen overnight, especially if you have been a night owl your whole life. But there are some things you can do to try your best and not hate the start of a new day; check these ideas out:

  1.  Stop thinking that you aren’t a morning person. Realize that you can become one.
  2. Arrange your schedule so that you are able to go to bed as soon as you get tired. This way you can get enough sleep and will avoid pressing the snooze button.
  3. Give yourself something to look forward to for instance treat yourself a nice breakfast, a relaxation time with the morning newspaper, a half-hour with a personal trainer at the gym or play online bingo. Do something you may not have had so much time for in the past.
  4. Have you ever thought there there’s something special in the morning air, a real renewal, that can’t be mistaken for any other time of the day? Expose yourself, in some way, to that early morning air. Find out what it is about the morning people covet the most.

If only you could gain a productive hour or two in the morning, you could help to put yourself on a healthier course and, ultimately, be a happier person.

Do you find yourself overwhelmed by the number of tasks you have to complete at work or home every day? Do you often feel the day flies by extremely fast and you still have not finished what you were supposed to do? If that is your case, maybe you like me need some time management tips…

You do not need to be an expert to realize that learning how to manage your time wisely will reduce stress hence will improve your life quality. Besides, it will allow you to have some time off which you can enjoy with your family, friends or bingo buds.

There are many strategies out there but this seems to be the simplest one to achieve. I will try it for a while and see whether or not it serves its purpose. You can do your own experiment too and if you have any other strategy to add please do so. You’ll be helping others to increase their performance, productivity, work satisfaction and happiness.

  • Plan each day. Write a to-do list, putting the most important tasks at the top.
  • Say no to nonessential tasks. Consider your goals and schedule before agreeing to take on additional work.
  • Take the time you need to do a quality job. Errors usually result in time spent making corrections, which takes more time overall.
  • Practice the 10-minute rule. Work on a dreaded task for 10 minutes each day.
  • Evaluate how you’re spending your time. Keep a diary of everything you do for three days to determine how you’re spending your time. Look for time that can be used more wisely.
  • Limit distractions. Close your door; turn off your phone, pager and e-mail. Don’t even dare to check Facebook.
  • Try to have a healthy lifestyle: Plenty of sleep, healthy diet and exercise regularly.
  • Take a break when needed. Too much stress can disrupt your attempts at getting organized. When you need a break, take one. Take a walk or take a day of vacation to rest and re-energize.
