When we are planning to buy a car, whether it is used or brand new, we usually care about specific mechanical conditions, safety, comfort and some other subjective and objective variables. However, is the color a crucial factor within the decision making process?  Have you ever wonder how your car’s color can positively or negatively impact your risk of collision?

Well, it seems color is important factor to keep in mind.  Your car’s color could make it clearly visible to other drivers and pedestrians, however safety also depends on other factors such as: Weather and road conditions, age and experience of the driver just to mention a few of them.

The below is the proposed list of car colors arranged from the safest to the most dangerous, using the results of a study carried out by the Monash University Accident Research Centre in Melbourne:

white (safest)
pink
maroon
yellow
blue
cream
mauve
red
green
gold
brown
fawn
silver
orange
grey
black (most dangerous)

If your car is among the not so safe colors, don’t be deceived by statistics as it was said, not all factors involved in an accident are only related to the vehicle’s color. But you can keep it in mind next time you buy a new one!

Fortunately when it comes to online bingo, color is not an influential factor, only numbers and luck! So, if you want to try yours tonight, don’t miss the Nightly $500 Coverall who knows you can walk away with an extra $500 in your pocket for your Christmas shopping

How many times have you been in an embarrassing situation just wishing that you could perform a Houdini vanishing act?  Or have you ever pulled a Houdini and slipped unnoticed by a group of friends in the middle of a party? How much do you actually know about the origin of the above sayings and the person who inspired them?

Today is a big day for all fans of Houdini as Google posts a homepage doodle commemorating what would have been illusionist Harry Houdini’s 137th birthday. By a twist of fate, both the birthday and the launch of the doodle happened on the same day that Dorothy Young, Houdini’s last surviving stage assistant and an accomplished dancer, dies at the age of 103.

Ehrich Weiss, known worldwide as Harry Houdini was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1874. Having been interested in vaudeville acts since a tender age, his proper career as a magician started at the age of 17. Buried alive tricks,  the mirror handcuff challenge, the milk can trick and the Chinese water torture cell were just a few of the many great acts and escape routines that Houdini performed throughout his career.

Contrary to many people’s beliefs, Houdini didn’t die during an escape from the infamous Chinese water torture cell. He died at the age of 52 in Detroit, 1926 from complications of appendicitis. A great loss to the entertainment world I would say

Thankfully there are still many wonderful escape tricks available to us. My favorite of the day is definitely escaping into the excitement of Thriller Thursdays at BingoAngels, where today you get to play online bingo where hitting the special coverall game between 48-52 calls means you get to take home an additional $500! If you want to know more about this and other bingo treats Bingo Angels has for you, check out today’s promos.

Today I ended up in a heated discussion with a friend of mine over lotteries. He thinks they are just a tax on the stupid, while I do not agree with this narrow minded point of view. His only argument was that with the odds/payout ratios being so low and so bad with so many landbased casinos he does not understand why people would play at all. He thinks that to play in general you really have to be a bit naive..

I think this is the point of view of someone who has lost a bit of the spark that should be in all of us. Playing the lottery, scratch cards, bingo, slots etc is not just about the payout ratio and the chance of winning. Obviously its nice to win and you are concerned about how much you can win etc, but for me, playing these games is all about the fun, the excitement, the little tingle in your tummy before you know if you won or lost.. And obviously, its about the social aspect involved in some of the games.

I dont play because I have to win, I play because of the hope of maybe winning. And usually its such a small amount that I am playing with, it doesnt make a difference to my everyday life at all.. I think its a bit of a shame about people who do NOT see the fun in these kinds of games of chance. I wish everyone could enjoy this tingle in the tummy that I feel when I am playing, and get to share all this with the amazing friends I meet in the bingo rooms.

In summary.. I love having hope! And so many fantastic friends to share it with!

I have a bit of a fascination about superstition and other folk lore knowledge. I think this comes from my interest in gambling and playing games, mainly from a point of view of trying to maximise my winnings with every possible chance I get 😉 Hehe. So today I decided to learn some interesting things about Tuesday, to see if it would bless me or stress me..

As I started digging I got a bit worried.. I immediately found out that in the Greek world, Tuesday is considered an unlucky day. The same is true in the Spanish-speaking world. There they even have a proverb for this that says: En martes, ni te cases ni te embarques, meaning, “On Tuesday, neither get married nor begin a journey.” Hmm…This did not bode well for my hopes to win a jackpot, so I investigated further…

While digging I found out that both Greeks and Spanish-speakers also consider the 13th of the month unlucky if it falls on Tuesday, instead of our idea of Friday being the unlucky day. Yet more worrying signs that Tuesday might not be my day.. But at least it wasnt the 13th!

I was starting to dispair and considered calling off the bingo, until finally I came across some good news! In Judaism Tuesday is considered a particularly lucky day, because in the first chapter of Genesis the paragraph about this day contains the phrase “it was good” twice! Excellent!

Having found a positive angle to this tricky day, I decided that from now on I will adhere to Judaism’s superstitions and beliefs about luck on Tuesdays, and then look into other points of view for the other days. 🙂

I think I have found the perfect way to handle my worry about superstitions and luck, I will just look for the best point of view and the silver lining of every day and I am sure I will be guided right by the lovely Fortuna.

So I did manage to earn a bit of cash yesterday thanks to my ever faithful bingo dauber and BingoAngels, but its not really enough to feed my shopping habits even if it is enough to feed my bingo habit 🙂

Tonight I will be shaking my hips to the Saturday night celebrations at BingoAngels where CASH Bonuses are up for grabs in Maxi’s H.o.B from 6pm all the way till midnight. I love the fact that they offer fantastic $75 Fixed pots all night long as well as $150 in CASH for the winner of the “Wipeout” Game between 8pm-11pm!

Excellent! Lets get this party started!

Considering the multitude of Online Bingo rooms out there, you might be wondering WHY should you play at BingoAngels? I cant speak for anyone else when I say that I LOVE Bingo and I just happen to have found my Bingo Home away from Home at BingoAngels. The friendly chat masters (or chat wizards as they like to call themselves 🙂 ), the great people hanging out in the rooms and the excellent prizes up for grabs are just a few of the many reasons I just feel at home here.

BingoAngels have revamped their Generous Player Loyalty Program recently, to give even more back to players who are coming back again and again for more of that heavenly fun. Their selection of Hot 9-Reel Slot Machines and the fantastic $25,000 Progressive Jackpot thats up for grabs keeps anyone on their toes, hoping for that big win!

But thats not all, all bingo rooms offer their own Progressive Jackpots while there is also the Free Bingo Room – open 24/7 – in case you are just wanting some chat instead of going for the big money.. (I think its wonderful that not everyone is in it for the money, gives you a bit of faith in humanity doesnt it! :))

With every deposit you get Free Tournament Seats so you can join in the exciting daily/weekly or monthly events and aim for some fantastic prizes!

Each week also sees multiple MUST-GO Jackpots! And who can argue with that, if they want to give out cash, I am happy to join in the fun for a chance to pick up some extra pennies! There are never enough of those.. Actually the first deposit bonus of 300% and the $15 for Free when you start playing also helps make your pennies go further!

I think this is a pretty excellent list of fantastic perks on offer for playing at BingoAngels, but for me the most important thing is definitely the friendly atmosphere and the great friends I have made while playing bingo… See you all in the bingo rooms!
